Louise M. Barone, nee Bancroft.Life long Resident of Summit, Illinois. Beloved Wife of the late John L. Barone. Loving Mother of John Barone, Sherry (late Michael)Corbitt, Anthony (Lori) Barone. Dear Grandmother of Joseph Corbitt, Alan, Catherine & John Barone. Funeral Service Wednesday 10 AM at FORAN FUNERAL HOME, 7300 W. Archer Ave(55th St. just west of Harlem). Interment Resurrection Cemetery, 7201 South Archer Road, Justice, Illinois. Louise was the Past Board President (1968-92)for the Des Plaines Valley Health Center, Past Board President and Member of Summit Public Library, Past President and Member of Argo Summit Bedford Park Women’s Club. Louise received the Distinguished Service Award for Illinois BiCentenial Commission, December 3, 1976, Dedicated the Reading Room at the Summit Library, September, 2007, was honored by the Summit Chamber of Commerce as Volunteer of the Year 1991. Recognized as a Distinguised Alumna of Argo Community High School in 1996, Was Chairwoman for the Village of Summit Bi-Centenial Committee, and was P.T.A. President and P.T.A. Council President in the 1950's.
