Francisco Javier Tavares passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Gladys Diaz. Loving father of Emily and Alma de Jesus Tavares. Dear brother of Ma.Trinidad Tavares Ramirez, Tomas Tavares Ramirez, Rev. Juan Tavares Ramirez, Evangelina Tavares Ramirez, Angelica Maria (Ramon Jasso)Tavares Jasso, Maria del Rosario (Francisco Rodriguez) Tavares Rodriguez, Rosa Maria (Antonio Camargo)Tavares Camargo, Carlos (Monica Ibarra)Tavares Ramirez, Jesus (Lucila Salas Tavares)Tavares Ramirez, Socorro (Rogelio Franco)Tavares Franco and the late Arturo Tavares. He will be missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation is Friday, February 26. 2021 from 4PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation of Saturday is from 11:30AM until time of prayers at 12 noon. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St. Daniel the Prophet the Church for a 1:30 Pm Mass in celebration of Francisco’s life. His cremains will be buried in Mexico. Due to the COVID restrictions, only 50 guests are allowed in the funeral home at one time so please keep your visit short so that others may visit. Everyone must properly wear a face mask and practice social distancing. No food or beverages are permitted in the building. Thank you for your consideration in keeping everyone safe.
