Geronimo Fuentes Trejo passed away at home on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Geronimo was a great man of few words. He was a devoted father who loved and cared for his family. A hard worker, he was always willing to help everyone. His legacy of love, service and kindness will continue to inspire and uplift all who had the privilege of knowing him. An amazing cook, he enjoyed making his famous tacos and burritos. He will be forever remembered for his delicious meals that brought so much joy to so many people. He will be dearly missed, always loved and never forgotten. Cherished Father of Anayeli Fuentes (Hubaldo) and Areli Fuentes (Eliseo). Much loved Grandfather of Emiliano, Camila, Valeria Leon. Beloved son of Miguel and Isidora Fuentes. Dear Brother of Emilio Fuentes, Virginia Fuentes, Antonia Gelacio, Crecencio Fuentes, Reina Fuentes, Alicia Gelacio, Miguel Angel Fuentes, Juan Fuentes, Francisco Fuentes and the late Victoria Fuentes. Visitation is Sunday, July 16, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Monday, from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to Our Lady of Czestochowa and Charity Parish – St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish Church, 3010 48th Ct, Cicero, IL for a 10 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Geronimo will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery. Gerónimo Fuentes Trejo falleció en su casa el miércoles 12 de julio de 2023, rodeado de su amada familia. Gerónimo fue un gran hombre de pocas palabras. Era un padre devoto que amaba y cuidaba a su familia. Trabajador incansable, siempre dispuesto a ayudar a todos. Su legado de amor, servicio y amabilidad continuará inspirando y elevando a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Un cocinero increíble, disfrutó haciendo sus famosos tacos y burritos. Será recordado para siempre por sus deliciosas comidas que trajeron tanta alegría a tantas personas. Lo extrañaremos mucho, siempre lo amaremos y nunca lo olvidaremos. El velorio es el domingo 16 de julio de 2023 de 4 p. m. a 8 p. m. en Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street, justo al oeste de Harlem). Velorio en la funeraria el lunes, desde las 8:30 AM hasta la hora de Oración a las 9 AM. Iremos en procesión desde la funeraria hasta Our Lady of Czestochowa and Charity Parish – St. Mary of Czestochowa Parish Church, 3010 48th Ct, Cicero, IL para una misa de entierro cristiano a las 10 a. m. Geronimo será sepultado en el cementerio Resurrection.
