Cleopatra Aquino

Cleopatra Aquino passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 23, 2022, with her loving family at her side. She was the loving Mother of Angelo and Jonathan. Cherished Daughter of Guillermo and Milady Aquino. Dear Sister of Johanna Aquino, Jenniffel (Luis) Ramirez and Willy Aquino. Cleopatra will be dearly missed by her nieces and nephews, Nicole, Christopher, Briana, Raphael, Isiah and Kaleb and her significant other, Samuel Aquino. Visitation is Friday, July 29, 2022, from 11 AM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 1PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th st. just west of Harlem). We will go in procession from the funeral home to Queen of Heaven Cemetery where Cleopatra will be laid to rest. Cleo was the family's guiding light; you went to her for advice since she always knew what to say and do. While she had excellent parking and driving skills, everyone has a story, and if you know, you know. Her life revolved around her parents, her kids Angelo, Jonathan, and her grandbaby Rocco (the family dog). She was the loving aunt to six nieces and nephews who she called "sweetie pie" and the Godmother to the first baby of the family Nicole. Her beautiful smile illuminated the room. She was constantly approached about modeling because her beauty was like no other. Her motivation and determination inspired you to put more effort into whatever you did. She was a leader who showed everyone love, care, and compassion. Being the oldest among her two sisters and brother, she acted as the second mother, offering advice and a listening ear. They grew up playing jacks, jump rope, and competing in every game you can think of. She didn't enjoy losing (neither do any of her siblings, with the exception of Willy, who is the more calm one).They all recall spending time in the "campo" at their grandparents' house, where they rode horses, went swimming in the river, and ate mangoes off the trees. Every time they went on vacation back home, their parents took them to the beach to eat spaghetti and go swimming in the ocean; to spend time with all the loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents . The memories of Cleo will always keep our hearts full, even though the mangoes won't taste the same and the ocean won't seem as blue.
