Theresa Mary Regalado Flores

We are saddened to announce the passing of Theresa Mary Regalado Flores, who graced our lives for 87 years and is now resting with the angels and reunited with our loving family in heaven. She was the Loving daughter to the late Baltazar & Angela Regalado; a devoted Sister to Raymond, Guadalupe, Baltazar, Nieves, Michael, the late Frank, and Albert and a cherished Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Theresa was beloved Mother to her twelve children; Frank, Fatima, Mario, Theresa, the late Samuel, Carmen, Irene, Eliseo, Frederick, Vicky, Josephine, and Marco. She was proud Grandmother to 44; Carolina, Franciso Jr., Ruth, Xavier, Sophie, Rosalind, Juventino Jr., Melissa, Nicholas, Joseph, Christine, Catherine, Michael, Isabella, Charity, Rafael, Heron, Gabriel, Maribel, Rachel, Elizabeth, Patricia, Christina, Enrique, Angel, Michelangelo, Salina, Richard, Christian, Luciano, Bianca, Frederick Jr., DeAngelo, Samantha, Matthew, Adrian Jr., Anthony, Elias, Maritza, Marco II, and Meliya. Great Grandmother to 53 children and cherished member of a large extended family of sons- and daughters-in-law, bonus children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Theresa was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on 5 April 1939. She loved to read, gardening and had a passion for geography. Though she held various jobs throughout her life, the title she treasured was “Ma”. She was a woman of strong character—independent, determined, and unwavering—truly one of the strongest women you could ever know. Theresa had a way of telling stories about her childhood—especially about the many chores she was given and the challenges of growing up with older siblings. Even in those memories, her strength and sense of humor shone through, reflecting the resilience that defined her life. Above all, she loved her faith, her children, her family and friends. She is deeply loved, and she will be profoundly missed by all who knew her. Visitation is May 21, 2026, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation at the funeral home on Friday, May 22, 2026 from 9 AM until time of Prayers at 10:30 AM. We will go in procession from the funeral home to St Pius V Catholic Church, 1901 S. Ashland Ave, Chicago, Il 60608 for a 12 noon Mass. After mass, we will go in procession to St .Mary Cemetery located at 87th Street & S. Hamlin Ave, Evergreen Park, IL 60805 where Theresa will be laid to rest.
